چکیده

One key bottleneck of solid-state NMR spectroscopy is that 1H spectra organic solids are often very broad due to the presence a strong network dipolar couplings. We have recently suggested new approach tackle this problem. More specifically, we parametrically mapped errors leading residual broadening into second dimension and removed them in correlation experiment. In way pure isotropic proton (PIP) were obtained contain only shifts provide highest resolution available today rigid solids. Here, using deep-learning method, extend PIP dimension, for samples L-tyrosine hydrochloride ampicillin obtain high 1H-1H double-quantum/single-quantum spin-diffusion with significantly higher than corresponding at 100 kHz MAS, allowing identification previously overlapped peaks.

Solid-State NMR Spectroscopy

A number of arylamides have been synthesized and found to exhibit potent antimicrobial activities against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria while exhibiting low toxicity toward eukaryotic cells. These facially amphiphilic foldamers have a relatively rigid intramolecular hydrogen-bonded arylamide as a framework, which places trifluormethyl versus positively charged ami...

Solid-State NMR Structure Determination from Diagonal-Compensated, Sparsely Nonuniform-Sampled 4D Proton–Proton Restraints

We report acquisition of diagonal-compensated protein structural restraints from four-dimensional solid-state NMR spectra on extensively deuterated and (1)H back-exchanged proteins. To achieve this, we use homonuclear (1)H-(1)H correlations with diagonal suppression and nonuniform sampling (NUS). Suppression of the diagonal allows the accurate identification of cross-peaks which are otherwise o...

Solid State NMR Probe Design

The majority of solids NMR experiments today are driven by biological applications in rigid macromolecules, where even the most advanced liquids methods are limited by the spectral resolution they can achieve. Obtaining detailed structural information from NMR of solid samples is often more technically demanding than for liquids because of the absence of molecular tumbling in solids to average ...

Solid-State Diffusion and NMR

Diffusion in solids, which requires the presence of crystal defects or disorder, has both microscopic and macroscopic aspects. Nuclear magnetic resonance techniques provide access to microscopic diffusion parameters like atomic jump rates and activation energies as well as to the tracer diffusion coefficient for macroscopic transport. Microscopic NMR methods include spin-lattice relaxation spec...

ucture using solid-state NMR

An overview of solid-state NMR structural studies on various silk forms and analogs conducted by the authors' research groups is presented. The well-studied silkworm and spider silks together with related silk peptides have a mixture of secondary structures including b-sheet, b-turn, helix and random coil that are difficult to analyze by X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy but convenientl...
